In very beginning of this crazy ride I had one dream: Grow everything I can to sustain myself and my family.
That was about 7 years ago and since then so much has happened.
We sell our own produce and that of my parents farm. Beyond that though we have decided to sell the produce of other local organic gardeners and farmers. We wish to bring our community together to support the local and organic food movements. I know from experience that sometimes it’s just down right hard to keep going when you have no incentive to do so. My husband and I don’t want that. We don’t want to small growers and backyard gardeners to throw their hands up because they have no where to put their produce.
So now, you have a place. Now you have an outlet to bring all of that extra goodness.
OUR RULES ARE:
-To grow your produce organically and in a sustainable and earth friendly way. (We will not accept GMO products)
-We will set the overall prices for products.
-Our fee for handling and marketing the produce is 10% of your profits, which we will take out of your cut before giving you your weekly check.
-We have the right to refuse your produce. We do not believe in perfect, blemish free items but if items are wilted, not fresh, or damaged badly we will compost them (per your request).
-Please give produce a quick wash before delivery. Items do not and should not be scrubbed clean, but should also not be covered and caked in mud that results in lots of extra time on our end to clean them.
-Produce will be dropped off at our house. Please inform one of us before dropping off.
-Any vegetable (Tomatoes, Pumpkins, Beans, Corn, Greens, etc)
-Any fruit (Berries, Apples, Pear, Peaches, Plums, Rhubarb, etc)
